AHA offers a comprehensive range of various yoke type track rollers for diverse applications, above all, pressure rollers, eccentric rollers or rocker arm rollers.
AHA yoke type track rollers have a thick-walled outer ring with a crowned-outside surface to avoid edge stresses.
The load carrying capacity of yoke type track rollers is defined by the basic load ratings C and C0 and is therefore comparable to the load carrying capacity of other rolling bearings.
If a yoke type track roller moves on a flat raceway or cam plate, the internal stresses in the track roller increase due to the elastic deformation of the outer ring.
Therefore, the reduced effective load ratings Cw and C0w are to be used for such operating conditions. For dynamic loads, the load ratio must not be less than Cw/P =1 because of the reversed bending stress occurring in the outer ring and the resulting risk of fatigue fracture.
For yoke type track rollers of series NUTR, the limiting radial load Fr pern or For perm must also be taken into consideration. AHA yoke type track rollers are also available in inch sizes: please ask for a catalogue.

The inner ring and the needle roller and cage assembly which is matched with the outer ring can be mounted separately. These AHA yoke type track rollers are particularly suitable for high speeds when lubricated with oil.
For track rollers of series NAST (without inner ring), the shaft raceway must be hardened and ground. The outer ring and needle roller and cage assembly of these bearings must be axially guided and the abutment faces must be at least precision turned.
If the adjacent guiding washers or shoulders are unhardened, about half of the outer ring side face area should be covered to obtain a sufficiently large thrust surface. If the washers of shoulders are hardened, it is permissible to go below this value.

Unlike series NATR track rollers, yoke type track rollers of series NATV are full complement bearings. They can therefore take heavier loads but at lower speeds. Frequent relubrication is also necessary.
Track rollers of series NATV are also available with contact seals (suffix “PP”). They can be used for temperatures between -30 oC and +100oC. In all other respects, the same points as made for series NATR apply.

AHA track rollers of this series are full complement bearings. As with cylindrical roller bearings, the double ribbed outer ring is axially guided by the rolling elements.
Together with the thrust washers, the shields form a highly effective gap seal. Due to the axial guidance by the rolling elements, track rollers of this series can take very heavy loads as well as axial shock loads even at high speeds.
Frequent relubrication is necessary. Yoke type track rollers with an extra thick outer ring are particularly suitable for taking radial shock loads. They are indicated in the dimension table by the addition of their outside diameter to the designation e.g., NUTR 50 110.
The inner ring and thrust washers must be clamped firmly together when mounted.
